WHY DO WE NEED A SERVO VOLTAGE STABILIZERS?

  In spite of best efforts, no state electricity board can ensure constant voltage to the customer because of long and inadequate distribution lines and irregular load pattern on distribution transformer.

Generally voltage is low during daytime and high during night hours. Moreover on holidays, peak hours, Rainy days and when agricultural and Industrial load is switched off, the Voltage rises sharply, which is more dangerous.


Voltage fluctuation is a common phenomenon is every part of the country. The industrial units running round the clock usually face the problem of low and high voltage. The industrial units having acute/high failure rate of Electrical & Electronic Equipment such as Bulbs, Tubes, Chokes, Starter, Contactor Coils, Motors, Circuit boards & etc should verify that it may be due to higher voltage.

90% of industrial load is of Electric motors and draw considerably high current at low & high voltages. Operation of any equipments on supply lower than or excess of its rated voltage results in loss of efficiency and over loading which in turn causes the over heating of the windings, resulting in the burn outs and rendering the equipment out of services.
